Matching Game: Farm Animals



Cut the paper and divide the animals name and its description. Spread the cut paper and ask your students to match the animal and its description.

Farm animals



Duck
It is quite small, it has 2 webbed feet, it produces egg
Hen
It is quite small, it has 2 feet, it produces egg. It eats bran.
Horse
It’s quite big. It has 4 feet. It’s very strong animal. It has mane. It has hoof.
Cow
It’s quite big, it has 4 feet. It gives milk, leather and milk. It has 4 stomachs. It’s able to see colour. It has black muzzle. It has horns.
Sheep
It has 4 legs. It has gland between their toes. It is raised for milk and wool.
Goat
It has 4 legs, it is raised for its milk, meat and skin. It is closely related to the sheep. It has goatee.
Rabbit
It is quite small. It has two long ears. It is raised for its meat.
Rooster
It eats worms, insects, seeds, grains, snails, slugs, fruits, vegetables and many other foods. It has colourful feathers. It doesn’t produce eggs. It has red comb
Turkey
It is small, it has two legs, it has feathers. It has red comb and wattle.
Goose
It is small. It has webbed feet. It has long neck. It has feathers.
