Kim Jong Kook: The Target of Running Man

Indeed, Kim Jong Kook (KJK) is the main target for all members of Running Man (RM) and the guests. Every member wants to eliminate him first, and the guests aim him as the target and rip his nametag.

I remember, in episode 35 when Ji Hyo chose the members to be her side, she chose KJK. She said if she wants to win have KJK is a must.

In the first survival game, episode 42, KJK was the strongest among them but all gathered their powers to eliminate him. Plus he was betrayed by the other member, that’s why at that time he couldn’t win the game.

In earlier episodes, every member wanted to become a group with KJK. As stated before, if you want to win have KJK is a must. Everyone would happy if became the same group with KJK and would get scared if they become the contender group. Yoo Jae Suk once said that the 2 kids (Gary and Haha) were just lucky because they had KJK in their group.

CN Blue YongHwa is one of the RM’s guests who always point KJK as his target in every game. He’s the first idol who was be able to rip KJK’s nametag and he display KJK’s nametag on his social media. In episode 104, Nickhun targeted KJK and tried hard to rip KJK’s nametag. Luckily, Nickhun succeed to rip the nametag together with Suju Enuhyuk. At that time, Nickhun and Eunhyuk were very happy because they succeed to rip the commander’s nametag.

The strongest RM’s guest, Choo Sung Hoon, every time he became the guest, he always aimed KJK. Even, the villain in drama ‘I hear Your Voice’, Min Joon Kook, when he became the RM’s guest, he said that he’s happy because he beat KJK. A female guest, Lee Yeon Hee said that she wanted rip KJK’s nametag once.

The RM’s members or the RM’s guest feel honor if they can win over KJK. They’re blissful if they succeed to beat the commander. That’s why, in my opinion, recently it’s very hard for KJK to win the game because the other members and the guests never go easy to him. They gather their power to not let KJK win the game. T_T
